Why we exist
When someone asks ChatGPT for “the best HVAC company in Austin,” it doesn’t guess. It verifies. It checks whether your information is consistent across the web, whether your reviews back up your claims, whether your site clearly says who you are, what you do, and where you serve. If any answer is weak, AI quietly recommends your competitor instead.
SOCi’s research found ChatGPT recommends only about 1.2% of local businesses. The other 98.8% are invisible in the fastest-growing search channel there is. That gap is fixable, it’s measurable, and fixing it is the entire business.

Jason Collett, founder. Unknown Design Co is principal-led, which means you work directly with the person who does the work, not an account manager two layers removed from it.
Unknown Design Co started as a design studio. That heritage is the edge: most SEO shops can make you rank, but they can’t make you worth choosing when a buyer actually looks. We build the visibility and the brand it lands on.
